Questions to consider when preparing your presentation
When you are travelling to a new place - do you need a map? Yes!
Do you need signposts? Yes!
Do you sometimes need to stop and check where you are going? Yes!
Just as you need signposts on a road, you need to signpost your talk to guide the audience through your presentation, link one point to the next, and help you to give them a clear message.

to bring attention to key points
to give yourself time to think
to stop yourself from speaking too fast!
